Saint Andrews by the Sea
Saint Andrews by The Sea is a quaint village on the Bay of Fundy in the province of New Brunswick. It is known as the oldest resort location in Canada known for its tides and great hospitality. Located on the south coast of New Brunswick just 30 km from the state of Maine, Saint Andrews is a popular summer destination.
Whale Watching in the Bay of Fundy
I have mixed feelings about whale watching after our experiences in Maui. I felt we were too intrusive and somewhat self serving seeking the thrill of the great breech metres from our boat.
The operator of the Zodiacs in Saint Andrews was aware of disturbing the whales and always kept a distance away. They are members of the Fundy Bay Whale Watching Code of Ethics. We often sat quietly in the water not knowing if a humpback would breech metres from us. Our rubber dingy type craft moved quickly and seemed to me to be less invasive.
I am not sure I have convinced myself that my argument is that solid!
